The Bachelorette star Rachel Recchia shared with her fans that she underwent breast reduction surgery. She previously shared that this is something she has wanted for a long time. After starring as a co-lead in The Bachelorette season 19 with Gabby Windey, she continues to share her journey on social media since being on the show.
The Bachelorette‘s Rachel Recchia took to her Instagram Story to share a before image of her in a hospital gown preparing for surgery. A few hours later, she shared a selfie in the car, captioned, “After!!!” Rachel added, “Thank you everyone who told me to put my hair in braids,” to her message as well.
The co-star of The Bachelorette season 19 of recently opened up on her TikTok about wanting the procedure and asked some of her followers for advice. Rachel asked “Are there any women – or what women have experienced getting a breast reduction?” The comments were filled with kind words and advice for the former. Bachelorette lead.

Rachel also explained how the process to get the surgery has been long and drawn out, saying, “I have been in the process of going through my insurance and [to get] the surgery done since I was 17, and I think I’m about to get it done at the beginning of next month.” This operation will impact Rachel’s life in many ways. She said that she will be able to “exercise and not have pain” and added that all the women who have gone through with the procedure themselves have found their lives changed for the better overall.
Rachel is not the first nor the last celebrity to undergo this surgery. From Drew Barrymore to Queen Latifah, all sorts of women have been getting this operation for many reasons. A woman’s choice to take control of her body and make it as comfortable as it can be is all anyone can do. After a long journey, Rachel has been able to fulfill her dream of receiving the surgery that will no doubt change her life for the better because it is something she has wanted to undergo for so long.
