    New Delhi:

    After being stranded for almost 11 hours in Karachi, 138 passengers of a Delhi-Dubai SpiceJet lastly took off for UAE on an alternate flight that was despatched from India on Tuesday night.

    SpiceJet’s Boeing 737 Max plane had made an unscheduled touchdown on the Karachi airport this morning after the gasoline indicator malfunctioned. Pilots on board the plane had indicators of a doable gasoline leak from one in all tanks within the wings of the jet.

    SpiceJet despatched an alternate plane SG 9911 from Mumbai to take the passengers to Dubai which took off at round 9:20 pm, information company PTI reported.

    “Apparently there was and is an issue with the plane’s mild indicator and it could not be repaired instantly and it did not get clearance from the engineers so one other plane was despatched from Mumbai,” PTI reported an official as saying.

    The gasoline mild malfunctioning was the primary of two incidents involving a SpiceJet incident on Tuesday. Later within the day, a SpiceJet plane, flying from Gujarat’s Kandla to Mumbai, made a precedence touchdown within the Maharashtra capital after its side windshield developed a crack mid-air,
