    TL;DR

    • Realme’s Madhav Sheth tweeted out an image of the company’s MiniCapsule feature, only to delete the tweet later.
    • The MiniCapsule appears to be an Android clone of the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island feature.
    • Shortly after the tweet was taken down, a leaker posted an animation of the feature.

Since Apple first showed off its new Dynamic Island feature for the iPhone 14 Pro, the Android community has been rushing to bring the feature to Android. While there are a few apps that try to mimic the experience, we haven’t seen any manufacturers try their hand at it, until now. Some freshly leaked images have shown us that Realme is working on its own version of the feature.

As spotted by 9to5GoogleMadhav Sheth, VP of Realme, tweeted out an image of his company’s upcoming C-series smartphone. In the tweet, Sheth points out a new feature working on the C-series phone called MiniCapsule. Not long after, the VP quickly deleted the image from his account.

What was shown off in the hastily deleted tweet was a feature that looked an awful lot like the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. Similar to Apple’s feature, the image showed a floating UI element that displays a black interface that hides behind the camera cutout. The demo shown in the image provided details about the phone’s charging status.

Although Sheth took down his tweet, it didn’t take long for the leakers to make their move. In collaboration with SmartPrixleaker @OnLeaks Posted a Gif of MiniCapsule in action.

Could we see companies like Samsung or Google take a stab at adding the feature to their handsets? Only time will tell. But what do you think? Would you like to see this feature in more future Android phones? Let us know in the comments section below.
